Strategies for Irish companies entering the U.S. MarketGalway, Ireland, July 2011.  Developing Enterprises Skillnet in association with WIN – West of Ireland Networking will host a workshop open to the public on ‘Strategies for Irish companies entering the U.S. market’ which will also have Sean Gallagher in attendance on July 15th from 10am to 1pm in the Clayton Hotel, Galway.

Award winning Galway business woman Mary Rodgers, CEO of Stateside Solutions, will begin the event with a workshop for all size companies interested in making the transition into the U.S. market place in a cost effective and efficient manner. Mary will explain the different options for cost effective market entry including direct sale, setting up an entity, distributor, partnering etc. She will also explain the advantages and disadvantages of each of the routes to market and discuss the various considerations including budgets, margins and timelines. According to Mary, “having worked in the U.S. for over 15 years, I understand the landscape as well as the challenges of doing business in such a dynamic and fast-paced environment and our program was developed to eliminate the guesswork of an unknown market”.
