Dublin, August 2010. For the second time this year Mary Rodgers CEO, presented to over 30 companies at Enterprise Ireland in Dublin on ‘Doing Business in the US’. Mary covered topics on setting up in the US and US business culture.

The aim of the First Flight Program is to save companies time and expense, and to help manage the risk associated with entering new markets. The First Flight Program is designed to assist companies seeking to export for the first time.  It is also of benefit to companies that are currently exporting and planning to target and sell into new markets. With Mary’s many years of experience in assisting companies entering new markets, her presentation gave a very insightful view of what can make or break a company’s venture in an unknown market. “Planning is everything” says Mary, “if a company fails to do their homework before market entry they risk losing deals for the most avoidable of situations”

For companies thinking about moving into a new market, the First Flight program is an invaluable resource and the perfect place to start.
